My husband, Skee, and I are having a good time selling baked goods at the Farmers Market in Brainerd by Franklin Art Center every Tues. this summer, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. We have my award-winning-whole wheat bread, made from freshly milled organic, non-gmo Montana wheat. The fresh wheat flour goes into the dough within minutes. I display an empty wheat bag so people can see it is authentic organic.
We have an assortment of products including carrot cake muffins, caramel rolls, of course, plus other breads, and even whole wheat pancake mix. I like to add a variety of baked breads and products each week.
We have seen several repeat customers. People are amazed with this healthy bread and they want more. That's thrilling for us.
Come check us out! Come early because the caramel rolls sell out quickly.
Since writing this post about Farmers Market on Tues. morning, we have added a Tues. afternoon event in downtown Brainerd on Laurel St. This Farmers Market is sponsored by the City of Brainerd and it is from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is an event that is more convenient for working people to attend than the a.m. Markets. Our first day was June 26 and it was very successful. The response from people was very encouraging. The Market is in the parking lot in the middle of the block on Laurel St. next to The Sage restaurant.
